Matt Edwards

Following a successful early career in the music industry, Matt left to pursue his passion in food. Having always taken huge pleasure in cooking and entertaining, a daredevil entry into Masterchef ended up in a three month involvement with the programme and a top six place in the competition.

Over the next few years Matt worked at: Hix, Quo Vadis, Fino, The Harwood Arms and St John.

Matt left St John to establish his own restaurant, Master & Servant, on Hoxton Square in East London. Salt & Dry was formed at the same time as an all-encompassing catering provider.

 

Sam Cowley

After a chance encounter with Matt over a pit-roast hogget, Sam quit his job in marketing and joined as the first full time member of staff at Salt and Dry.

Sam manages the Salt and Dry kitchen and
handles business marketing.

Stella Mallinson

Having spent 15 years running pubs, Stella is an expert in people management and is the perfect host.

As head of production, Stella manages staffing, event dressing, front of house and can still pull a terrific pint.
